Empowering Financial Literacy for All

Know Your Money is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible, practical financial education that empowers individuals to make informed decisions about their money.

Our Mission

To bridge the financial literacy gap by providing comprehensive, accessible education that empowers people of all ages—from middle schoolers to adults—to build secure financial futures.

Financial Education for Every Life Stage

Financial literacy is a critical life skill that should be learned early and reinforced throughout life. Our educational programs start at the middle school level, partnering with organizations likeNext Gen Personal Finance (NGPF)to develop age-appropriate courses that resonate with students and prepare them for real-world financial decisions.

We believe that starting financial education in middle school creates a foundation that grows stronger through high school, college, and into young adulthood. By the time students enter the workforce, they're equipped with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about budgeting, saving, investing, and managing debt.

Our comprehensive approach serves learners at every stage—whether you're a middle schooler learning about money basics, a high school student preparing for college expenses, a college student managing loans and building credit, or a young adult navigating career decisions and major purchases.

Why Start Early?

Middle School (Ages 11-14)

Building foundational concepts: earning, spending, saving, and the value of money through interactive lessons and real-world scenarios.

High School (Ages 14-18)

Advanced topics: banking, credit, loans, insurance, and college financial planning to prepare for independence and major life decisions.

College & Young Adults (Ages 18-25)

Career-focused education: student loans, building credit, investing basics, and transitioning to financial independence in the real world.

Adults (25+)

Life-stage planning: homeownership, retirement planning, family financial management, and advanced investment strategies for long-term wealth building.

Our Educational Approach

Through strategic partnerships and evidence-based curriculum, we're transforming how financial education is delivered across all age groups.

Partnership with NGPF

We collaborate with Next Gen Personal Finance to create engaging, standards-aligned curriculum that makes financial concepts accessible and relevant for middle and high school students. Together, we're building the next generation of financially literate citizens.

Age-Appropriate Content

Our courses are carefully designed for each developmental stage, using interactive tools, real-world scenarios, and practical applications that resonate with learners from middle school through adulthood.

The Impact of Early Financial Education

Research shows that students who receive financial education in school are more likely to have savings accounts, less likely to max out credit cards, and more likely to pay bills on time as adults. By starting early and continuing through each life stage, we're not just teaching financial concepts—we're building lifelong habits that lead to financial security and independence.
